ClockSmart is a comprehensive timekeeping and payroll software designed to streamline employee data management, attendance tracking, and payroll processing for businesses of all sizes.

ClockSmart is scalable and can manage from as few as five employees to over 500, ensuring flexibility as your business grows.

Employees can access their payslips online through our e-payslip feature via the employee portal. Additionally, payslips can be printed directly from the portal for physical records.

Timekeeping

Employees can log in to the Employee Portal to view their leave balances directly from the dashboard.

Approvals are handled by designated approvers or administrators within your company, ensuring proper oversight and authorization.

DTR: Displays the actual time logs recorded by the timekeeping device.
Timecard: Includes the DTR along with approved applications such as leave, official business, and overtime entries.

ClockSmart automatically transmits time and attendance data from biometric devices to the central system via the internet, eliminating the need for manual data collection and transfer.

Yes, ClockSmart automatically calculates mandatory government contributions, including SSS, GSIS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and BIR deductions.

Yes, employees can clock in and out offline. An internet connection is only required for data transmission to the central system.

Absolutely. ClockSmart is equipped to manage complex shift patterns, including multiple clock-ins and clock-outs within a single day.

Payroll

Each payslip contains the employee's name, company name, pay period, gross salary, itemized deductions, and a QR code for validation.

Overtime is compensated at an additional 25% of the employee's hourly rate for hours worked beyond the standard 8-hour workday.

Employees can log in to the Employee Portal using their credentials, navigate to the "Reports" section, and select "Payslip" to view or print their payslips.

Human Resource and Information System (HRIS)

An HRIS is a software solution that integrates human resources and information technology, allowing for electronic management of HR activities and processes.

No, not all HRIS systems offer payroll features. However, ClockSmart provides a comprehensive solution that includes both HR management and payroll processing.

ClockSmart employs HTTPS protocols with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption to protect data transmission between your browser and our servers, safeguarding against unauthorized access.

Product Features

Yes, ClockSmart provides exportable reports including DTR summaries, payroll registers, government contribution reports, and audit trails to ensure full transparency and compliance with labor regulations.

Yes — the ClockSmart Employee Portal is available as a mobile app for Android devices on the Google Play Store.
For iOS users, the Employee Portal can be accessed as a Progressive Web App (PWA): simply open the portal in Safari, tap the “Share” icon, and select “Add to Home Screen” to install a shortcut on your device.

Note: The mobile app is currently for employee use only — it provides access to payslips, attendance logs, application of leave, OB and OT, schedules, and leave balances.

ClockSmart currently supports only the Digital Persona / HID U.are.U 4500 fingerprint scanner. Compatibility with other biometric devices is not supported at this time to ensure stability and accuracy of the system.

Yes, ClockSmart can handle varied schedules including flexitime, compressed workweeks, and remote work, with tools to manage attendance and productivity for hybrid teams.

Yes, automatic data backups are performed regularly on our servers. Clients may also request periodic exports for local archival.

Employees can still use biometric devices offline. Once power or internet is restored, the device will sync data with the system automatically.
